# Wallet MCP Skill

> Entry point for an AI agent connecting a user to the Wallet MCP

## Wallet MCP

Non-custodial. DeFi, DEX swaps, smart contracts, NFTs, x402 payments. Human-in-the-loop for every write.

### Supported chains

Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche and Robinhood Chain, plus Base Sepolia for testing. Base is the default chain when none is specified.

### What you can accomplish

- Send tokens (native gas tokens like ETH, BNB, POL, AVAX, plus USDC and other ERC-20s) on any supported chain.
- Swap on DEXs (Uniswap, Aerodrome, etc.) on mainnet chains.
- Interact with smart contracts (DeFi protocols, governance, staking).
- Sign messages and typed data.
- Mint, buy, sell NFTs.
- Pay for x402-enabled services from the user's Coinbase Wallet Account (Base and Base Sepolia only).

### Setup

Connect to the Wallet MCP via `https://wallet-mcp.coinbase.com` — OAuth through your Coinbase Wallet Account.

Add the Wallet MCP as a connector/MCP server in your client. Supported: Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Cursor, Codex, Hermes. No CLI fallback.

### Verify

Ask "what's my wallet address?" → returns an address → connected.

### Rules

- **Every write requires explicit user approval.** The agent proposes; the user clicks "Allow."
- For CEX trading on Coinbase, use Coinbase for Agents instead.
